The ponds and cape location are the draw. Sites are semi-wooded and some are shoreline. MA DCR camps are no frills, but reasonably priced and serviceable. Dogs and kids are safe here. Sadly there's a drought based fire ban this late August.
Site 38 while so hot during the height of the day has gorgeous views over Flax pond and a wonderful breeze. It also has its own path to the beach though it is steep.
$75 for one night non resident? Nah, I’ll pass on through and go somewhere else.
