Camping Cantley

In one word.... Amazing!!!! It is a great place to enjoy nature, disconnecting from the city noise. We love it and we'll return.

I arrived at the camping a few hours before the other people of my group: the young girl at the desk was very nice and welcoming. The indications about where to find my camping spot was a bit of a struggle because the numbers were not clearly indicated. The internet and the overall network doesn’t work which I didn’t really mind because the campsite is enormous and offers a lot of activities (pool, mini-putting, tennis court,…). What I didn’t appreciate was the attitude and the tone of the woman that’s right by the entrance: she started asking me a ton of questions about why I was coming in and out of the camping, why I had a bike, where was my campsite, if I paid, why I did u-turn in her gigantic parking (she seemed to have a huge problem with that when obviously I was on a motorcycle and it’s not like I could go backwards like cars do…). It was really not necessary, aggressive and unprofessional.

If you're seeking a perfect escape from electronics, Cantley Campground is the perfect place for families. I recently had the pleasure of spending quality time with my family and made new friends. Cantley's family-friendly approach has amazing activities. The provided monthly calendars are packed with engaging events on the weekends and recreational opportunities for all age groups. Whether it was crafts saturday morning, swimming in the two pools, playing various outdoor games in the great big fields, or the kids having a blast at the playground structure, there was never a dull moment. Oh I loved Disco Night! One of the standout features of Cantley Campground is its resourceful staff. They were incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist with any questions or needs, ensuring guests had a memorable stay was evident in every interaction. The clean and well-maintained bathrooms showed to their commitment to providing a pleasant environment for everyone. As an added bonus, the campground's ponds provided an excellent opportunity for kids to catch and Release frogs. With September just around the corner, our family is already counting down the days until the Halloween events. After hearing great reviews campers our kids can't wait to participate in the fun-filled activities. Trick or treat? treat it is. :)

This campsite is so gorgeous! You can tell they work hard to keep the park beautiful, big kids park, everyone is so friendly and always there if u need help or questions. I'm glad we found this place! And everything is so close if you need groceries or other things. I recommend this campsite to anyone that is looking :)

Beautiful place with friendly staff. Sanitary blocks are clean but a bit old and outdated. The pool was clean and water was acceptable temperature wise. Maybe a little cooler than I would have liked. Starting around 8 in the morning construction could be heard slightly but only for a short while. We had a good night regardless. The fellow campers took the curfew quite serious and nothing could be heard starting at around 9:30pm. Water from the tab is drinkable and tasted good. The playground was excellent and my kids really enjoyed it. There are lots of trees and it is quite scenic and we were in the far back with our tent trailer close to the tent sections. We had to book a 4 night minimum. I guess this is to avoid too many changeovers. Ice and wood is available at the office at the entrance. There is a laundromat on site as well but we never used it. The dépanneur was closed due to covid but most of the necessities were also available at the office. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again. Close to everything including a grocery store about 7 minutes ago.
