Stayed Aug 29th on a site overlooking the ocean. Easy access to a very amazing shoreline. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Clean facilities. We were on an unserviced site. Sites in the oceanside section designed for tents, they are nicely spaced. And there is seating overlooking the shore for cocktails or coffee. We were greeted by the host and his lovely pup. Would highly recommend. One note, many private campgrounds along the shore have loonie operated showers. Loonies only! That's on us. We should have known twoonies and quarters were out.
Lovely little campground. Clean and well cared for. The owners were friendly, personable and spoke English which is a plus for American tourists. Guided us to a pharmacy and clinic when one of our traveling companions wasn’t feeling well. Highly recommend. We took the path to the beach and enjoyed the sunset.
Stopped here for one night and stayed for 2!! Joel was very welcoming and helpful!! A fairly new campground with very clean facilities. Absolutely stunning spot on the ocean to watch the sunset or sunrise. A must stop !!
They very kindly provided a full refund due to unforeseen changes in my travel plans. Many thanks.
Great option for the Song Festival. I was there during this time and everything went well, no noise in the evening. The toilets were clean. The view is magnificent and there is access to the seaside. Whales and gannets can be seen in the distance. There is no reception on the campsite, arrival is somewhat confusing. It was a lovely stay.
