We just spent a wonderful week at the campsite! Pros: The sandy beach (we were next to the smaller, back beach) is very pleasant and with few people (expept for Saturday). Perfect for floating down the lazy river, paddle boarding and canoeing. BE CAREFUL with the current! It is fast! In some places the depth drops very quickly! The washrooms and facilities were clean and well maintained. Shower: 1$ for 5 min. CONS: This is a huge campground and the sites are very clustered and packed together! Ony the few waterfront sites have a bit of privacy, and sites E7 and E8 in the back are very private and large. But overall it has a great atmosphere and we plan to come back!

We rented a ready to camper. It was like new. It was a slow weekend and we couldn't have open fires but it was nice. It was quiet. We were with 3 other couples with kids and one who was also renting. Close to the nice big park. Was a pool but not open yet. And a short walk to the river with a very big sandy beach. Had a dépanneur and a fast food style restaurant. I highly recommend. I want to go again next year

We have stayed here 3 times. It has a great location on the river, but the pool was never open when we were here, and our car (Tesla), and trailer (Hymer) scrapes on most of the speed bumps. The check-in process also takes a long time.

First time staying here and we were very happy with the campground. The beach that stretches the entire length of the park was what really sold us. The river doesn't get very deep but is perfect for wading, kayaking or drifting on an inflatable. The staff didn't speak English really well but made sure that all our questions were answered. Washrooms were always clean and well stocked. I would absolutely recommend this campground to friends and family. If you are coming from Ottawa, it takes about 2hrs and 15 minutes to get there.

This place is crammed with lots so much so that there are lots outside the gates on the way in. The ones the supply power for tent camping are sandy and not grassy, so if it rains you are in for a muddy day. I thought we rented a secluded lot (211 and 212) turns out there is no real woods behind us but permanent rv's right behind those lots so the map isn't accurate. The fire pits are in front of the lots near the road and there is a curfew of 11:30pm for fire which is weird. So many people on the weekend that it's too loud and to crammed for any privacy ( since you are almost sitting in the road around the fire pit.) I am only giving 2 stars cause the beach was nice and you can practically walk across to the other side so it was enjoyable to be in with the kids.
