Customer Reviews
For quiet lovers, no music allowed except inside and unheard by fellow campers. Beautiful clean sand beach you can walk out for quite awhile before it goes weeds. Perfect lake for kayaking. Clean facilities. Friendly helpful staff and good prices at the limited stock store. Away from the Laurentian in crowd and well worth it. Going back again 100%
Our camping season is over. I will miss this place and I am sure I will count the days to come back next season. For me this camping doesn't mean only beautiful nature, means beautiful people around us too. Our neighbors have children who came and say hello to our dog, or we stopped by and then had a glass of wine with them at the fireplace, we showed their young kids how to chop wood or how to cook or even play in raining mud. Camping du Grand Lac Noir is about living a life that you can't have in the city and this is what I love the most. And guess what...here kids play outside with each other, they run they bicycles or play together on the beach, you see the young 9 years old favoring a girl...the sweeteast thing in the world, we play in dirt, chasing frogs and this is normal. This is life... So ...Happy Winter everyone...hope my knee will get better and volleyball here I come every weekend I promise even if you guys are too professional for me ;) Not in the last..life here tastes like living the life I used to have..kids on street, adults having fun, neighbors been neighbors. And not in the end ...the BIG-est thank you to Nancy and Yves our camp owners who know how to keep the camp going and make us happy, and who knows how to pair us to be happy...they are the best . They are so toughtful that they don't rent to just anyone..they prevail quality over numbers Xoxo until next time
Great price and very welcoming staff. If you'rea group, mention it to when booking and they should set you up in a cul-de-sac (little traffic). My only concern is the music policy; no speakers at all times. Management claims this is to allow all campers peace and quietness but when a major road is only 15 meters away from your campsite, that argument doesn't hold water. It does make sense for those who are further into the campgrounds but tents are all by the road.
Beach a bit of a walking distance from campgrounds. If u don't mind walking it's fine. Small beach but water and sand is nice.
Realy quiet, very clean
