We have just returned from staying at the Lac des Sables campsite with family and it was the worst weekend of our lives! Climate of terror, the owners are violent and threatening with the children. They do golf cart patrols so often that it becomes controlling and we feel bad being there. Having read the comments before, it is certain that we would have chosen another one. Don't go there!
The 3 owners are sick. They yell at everyone, they kick out anyone who doesn't lick their feet. They speak against everyone. The atmosphere is really not good. Everyone who gave 3 stars or more is a member of their gang. There is a lot of free land and despite the pandemic, we wanted to change the land but it was full everywhere. Ask yourself why. DON'T GO THERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Owners in no way sincere and harsh in arrangement. Very unfair (money talks), they have their favorites. You're going to have to walk on eggshells around them! A big zero after two seasons as a seasonal worker. He also likes to make cash “deals” without a receipt. The location is correct, despite road 309 passing right in the middle of the campsite.
Wow...we're starting our 3rd season and we love it. The place is very clean and very well maintained by the owners. Very active social committee. Lake for swimming with sandy beach.
Worst place ever, we were 3 people with a baby and we were charged $75 per person to have access to my own father's trailer.... I would have given 0 stars out of 5 but we can't -_-
