If you’re coming in from the laurentians and it directs you to go from la Minerve, don’t get off the gravel road into that trail on google maps. It will tell you to go in this rinky dink trail that’s designed for a 4 wheeler at most and you won’t be able to turn around and the trees will ruin your car if you still have all your tires. I was thankful enough to have a tiny space to turn around after 12km of severe anxiety, approx 1 hour from any service at all. Go through Hawkesbury, but actually just don’t go at all so you don’t drive 6h for nothing and ruin your car!

We have been going to Camping Ernest for two years in a row, it is always a pleasure to be there. It’s beautiful, calm, the campsites by the water. A beautiful place to stay and relax. Plus, the staff are super nice and welcoming. I recommend to everyone.

Rustic campsites for a stay in the great outdoors. The sites are not accessible by car. You have to take a small path that goes from the parking lot to the site itself. Lots of space.
