Great little camp ground . Friendly staff. Fishing. Tent sites are a little close but somewhat secluded. Get the showers early because hot water gets low. Buetiful place . Swimming . Clean. Highly recommend and also pet friendly
The most honorable and hospitable people I have met throughout my travels around the world were the owners of this campsite. I am a backpacker and hiker who walks long distances to support children and the underprivileged. On the day I reached Miscou Island after a five-day hike, my toe was infected, and the owners of this campsite welcomed and cared for me with immense kindness and love. In an environment filled with peace and love, surrounded by noble-hearted people, I realized that I am not alone in this difficult journey of helping others. This wonderful couple, like the hands of the Creator of this world, helped me. I wish you all the best
The staff were fantastic but having two loose dogs in the park was not. My dog got attacked on the beach and got hurt. I went to the office to complain and they said they would send someone out to investigate. Obviously they didn’t because the next day these two dogs were loose again and I couldn’t bring my dog out because I was concerned he would get attacked again. Loose dogs on the beach and in the campground is a very real concern for the safety of everyone.
Very welcoming family run campground. Very different plots to choose from, ranging from stunning beachfront to more forest pine surrounded plots. Seems to have a lot of season guests coming years after years during summer, many of them coming to fish. The common room has a very special comfortable touch with a transparent roof. I really enjoyed my short stay there and would definitely recommend it. Don’t forget your repellent!
The owners of the campground are very interested in making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as they can. Some things at the campground are a work in progress but the washrooms are topnotch and the common area for campers is very interesting and comfortable. The cabins are really cozy and unique. We would highly recommend it.
