We have camped many placed in Canada, Eu, and US. Here, we have only stayed at the small chalets. The spots were perfect - close to the petit train du nord and access to water and trails. We had a dog who was very happy. I understand some have complained about lack of water, outhouses, and perhaps outside fires. But, one should understand this is as close as you can get to a site with no cars in your view, no electricity, no noise from a SEPAQ toilet and still be able to drive to. There is a balance and this spot has found it. Please try it and see what is offers. Also Montagne Vert and the beaches of Labelle are beautiful.

Loved staying here it was beautiful The water frunt was smaller then I thought it would be but still it was cute and good for swimming. It got really cold at night so I sagestig if ur in a tent bring alot of warm blankets or have a cold resistant tent. The camunal fier pit is not for everyone to us unfortunately that sucked a bit but over all ot was really nice. Nice respectfully ppl around you and ots close to the town to go do things. It's a good option if u want to relax 😌

staff was friendly and accommodating. same day reservation was no problem in off season. they will sell ya as much fire wood as you need. I believe they rent out camping stoves and heaters also . canoe rentals also . great river view across the street. great place for bike in and bike out camping as the petit train du nord goes right through the property.

The campsites are good, nothing exceptional really, but just as good as any other campsites in the region. The problem we had was that when we arrived we were told there is no drinking water. This is ok, as it can happen but the fact that they failed to tell us (email/call) beforehand is not acceptable. So in the end we had to go buy water from 8-10km away while we were most probably charged for the services there including water. Hope this won’t happen again, but in general that kinda blew the whole experience.

We stayed two nights in the "clamping tent". It was perfect. I would have stayed longer if I could have. There are wonderful outdoor hot showers close by and a fire pit with chairs. We were out for 2 weeks, every night a different location and it was by far on our top three list. We had our family over one night for a fire and it made them want to camp with us. The sand river across the street is a dream. You can go in just to get your ankles wet or walk to the other end of the river (a 1 min walk) for a proper swim. We went in after our run in the morning. In short, I highly, highly recommend this spot.
