Delighted every time to spend time here with my friends. Picturesque nature and clean air. An extraordinary lake, with crystal clear water and tasty fish. Good to spend time with children on the beach. Clean toilet and accessible shower cabins. Very large places for tents. There is a group of people who have not missed a season here for years 😉 An organized place and a wonderful team. 👍
Great camping with some really nice amenities located on a beautiful lake. Water is not potable, but the location makes up for it...highly recommended to spend a weekend or week away relaxing or fishing.
Located on the beautiful Lac-Du-Cerf. I've been renting a chalet on the lake for 25 years, however last year I was unable to. We decided to rent a camping lot. We had a great time, great staff, friendly full time campers and of course beautiful views. 2021 Update: The camp ground was purchased by Camping Union. They have added a few amenities such as, playground, billiards room, inflatable water playground, updated bathrooms etc. They have also added “Wagons” these are beautiful “tiny homes” that you can rent out for about 120$/night. They are fully equipped and even have a toilet. Staff is excellent, I would highly recommend this camp ground.
Terrible option if you want a peaceful and quiet tent camping experience. We were in a tent site near the end of the tent section away from the main campground. The sites are very close together and small with no privacy and full sun for about half of them. There was a group of about 8 rowdy university-age kids on the neighboring site. They played nonstop loud party music from about 9 in the morning until midnight (despite the curfew of 23h00). When we complained to the staff the next morning (since they didn't bother to make sure people were following their rules during the night), they apparently told them they couldn't play music after 23h00, so they made up for it with bawdy drunk singing. My noisy thin-walled city apartment is more peaceful than this place. On top of this, they've doubled their tent spaces since their last online map update, but haven't bothered to increase the number of bathrooms (which are "conveniently" located in the middle of the full-service RV section). So with COVID restrictions, there was one public toilet and one shower each for men and women for the entire campround, and pretty bad ones at that. Also, be warned they don't have potable water, unless you are willing to get scalped on bottled water which they sell for about $3/liter (I can't remember the exact price). So bring lots of drinking water. On the positive side, it is in a nice location, and the little beach is surprisingly nice, especially for small children. Overall, it might be nice if you want the RV park experience, but pay a bit more for a Sépaq or other nice campground if you want the peace and quiet of the outdoors.
This park is clean and simple, but maybe too simple. Being far from Montreal, I expected it to be fun with activities, but there are none. It is boring! So, if you're a family coming to the park, bring all your things because you will be bored out. But overall, it's too simple. It is just you camping in the woods with no service (depends). However, if you want a place to relax in silence, it is neat! PS: The toilets were really clean in my experience.
