A great lake to camp at that is out in the woods off the beaten path. No drinkable water, so be prepared to boil or bring your own. Water can also be purchased. Bugs are at their best, so plan to bring some coping mechanism for the mosquitoes, black flies and deer flies. A nice beach near the camping, with a dock and place to put boats in as well.

Nice camping spot (site 48), plenty of space (4 peoples, 2 tents, table and car fitted easily), easy acces to the lake, fire pit is just a small hole with some rock but it does the job, not many tree on the surounding to install tarps. The sanitary facilities present in the camp are great, heated shower, sink with counter and flushable toilets. The outhouse that are more common around are pretty bad, its work walking the 5min to the sanitary facilities.

Camped at De la Vieille 1. Very clean site with a clear lake and a lovely beach area (unsupervised, swim at your own risk). Washrooms with free showers open 24/7 including outhouses, no drinkable water. 1 bar cell service signal on the campsite.

Quiet and beautiful campground near Route 117. Preparing enough drinking water and mosquito repellent is absolutely necessary.

Very clean and beautiful campgrounds. The staff is especially thoughtful. We were exploring the "Gens de terre" river and came back quite late to the camp because we stopped by someplace to make a fire and eat. When we got to our camp the guys came to check up on us if everything was ok, they knew it was a tricky and difficult river. Thanks to you people and a special thanks to Nico! All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to stay!
