Amazing camp ground under new administration. Louis is very nice and helpful! He and his team are doing and great job to make sure everyone is comfortable at their campsite. The lake with beautiful and quiet, the trails are amazing. I highly recommend it!
Stayed here for a night during a bike touring trip, clean and very friendly...what more do you need
The camp ground is ok, there isn't much privacy between lots and kinda cramped. The owner Louis often takes over the community Lodge with his large family so it's very difficult to get much use of it. The beach is nice and clean but fairly small and there's a gigantic steep incline leading down to it so it's extremely difficult to get to. There are very minimal tent spots with a view other than the main road or trailers since the trees block out the view of the lake from the top of the cliffside. I've also been very nervous about bringing my son over the years because of that cliff. It's easily a 50 foot drop with nothing guarding it and there are tents and trailers running along it. This camp ground has also had a lot of very long time campers that have made their lots second homes with patios, gardens, decks and have put a lot of expenses in and is now evicting them with nothing more than a month notice before the end of the camping season. People who have helped run events and camped with close friends for over a decade are being pushed out so he can cram more tent spots together. Overall, I'm extremely unhappy with the owner's decisions and don't plan to come back at all.
