It is a great campsite, very well looked after, with friendly people and nice activities. A very Canadian experience for me, with huge caravans, trailers, and park houses. I loved Christmas for the campers.

Beautiful scenery and forest to walk around. Very nice and clean amenities for people of all ages. Farms animals on site. Hot tub is very pleasant. Two big pools, one is heated, the other has a slide and Diving board. Some sites are spacious. Very interesting place to watch helicopters being tested. Pool very chlorinated. Dogs are not allowed on the ground in many areas so you have to out them in a stroller or handbag. The wifi didn't work last year and didn't work this year. Snackbar/ shop has very odd and unreliable hours. Some sites are very tightly packed. More spacious sites are closer to entrance and lots of traffic noise. Nothing is wheelchair accessible, maybe the community room. Many washrooms throughout the camping. Well stocked with handsoap and paper towels. Most of the roads to sites are paved and well maintained. Trails are Stoller friendly. Great place for kids to have fun and be goofy. It feels safe and many children are playing fun games throughout the day like tag, hide and seek, colouring in asphalt. There is a little pond for canoeing and kayaking. Very shallow and safe for kids to try boating since there is no where that is far, no motorboats and no current.

Did lots of campgrounds over the years, 2nd stay here. 1st time we had a really bad welcome by the lady at the entrance, thought she had a bad day but it seems she's always like that, she makes you feel unwelcome and acts as we are annoying her when you get to talk to her when she's finished talking of her recipes with a regular customer. The sites are fine but expensive 63$/night for 2 services. They seem not to have to be kind with their customers as they are near Montreal and always full. If you want to go on internet, the "free" wifi is weak and so slow, should be full speed for the $ charged for the stay. You're not allowed but bring your own wood if you want to do a campfire, theirs is wet, very expensive and you get only a small quantity that won't last an hour when you get to light it up. The only reason we are returning is because we have friends near the campground, otherwise we'd be in a more welcoming and much cheaper place like Camping du Circuit in Saint-Calixte for example.

Nice campground most of the campers spoke French only. The staff was bilingual and were very helpful. The campground is very busy, but reasonably close to Montreal.
