We rented a ready to camp at the edge of the small river. Very well laid out and beautiful area. We were there 2 nights, Monday and Tuesday. It was very hot but the swimming pools were not accessible. Yes the beach is good for swimming but paying the full price, I would have liked to have access to the swimming pool, especially for our 4 year old daughter. Otherwise, it's a place that I recommend.

Dog friendly! The dog is allowed literally everywhere except the swimming pool, which is 100% understandable! The staff is courteous, kind, polite, the lady at reception is a sweetheart! The beach is tiny, but it’s quiet and the view is beautiful ☀️

We stayed 4 nights at 708, lac aux canards (ready-to-camp). We went to take the car to the trailer even though the receptionist had told us that there were 45 minutes of cleaning left. When we arrived, the employees were already leaving so cleaning took no time. Upon entering there was a strong smell of perfume and ashtray back. My partner didn't want to stay, but we had paid. The employees had sprayed the mattress covers and chairs with perfume. It was unbearable and it hurt my throat. After taking out the mattress covers and opening the windows for hours, the scent was less present, but never completely went away. The smell of cigarettes was very strong, we left our food on the counter and when we left the microwave it was so intense that it was suffocating. The trailer was dirty, full of crumbs on the chairs and armchairs, dust on the floor, the pillows lent had dried slime on them. Luckily we had our own. There are only net curtains so there is no darkness. When I tried to close a curtain it came loose and fell. Everything is dilapidated and there is a lack of renovations, especially maintenance, everywhere on the site. Broken bottles, masks, bags of chips on the ground... When you walk it smells of cigarettes and musty, because everything made of wood is rotten. At the swimming pool, people swim in their clothes, teenagers jump and pull each other, it's dangerous. They weigh themselves on their heads to drown themselves and speak vulgarly. The rescuers say nothing. It's very unpleasant. The beach is very small and it is indicated that it is forbidden to swim there, the tube descent is very slow that the children regretted having done it. Positives: the water features and swimming pools seem new, the children enjoyed playing in the sand. I was told the water was drinkable, but it was yellow and smelled very strongly of sulfur. I was told to bring my wood, but he was giving it away. They had left about 1 tablespoon of dish soap for our 5 days. There was hair in the bath and a lot of mold. My children didn't want to wash and we took our shower with our sandals on. We left a day early because we were tired of living in the dirt and the smell. We didn't sleep well! I do not recommend this campsite even for those who have their own trailer. It lacks too much maintenance!

We had a very good vacation. 1 week was even too short, we would have liked to be able to extend our stay. The campsite is warm, the people are welcoming, respectful and the employees are great. They helped us and we were even able to get a free activity when we checked in. The duck lake is magnificent, my daughter loved it. The food (e.g. poutine) was good. There are several activities for adults and children (e.g. volleyball, pétanque, module, swimming pool, bingo, beach, tubing, etc.). Apart from the color of the water, we have nothing to say except that it was awesome. We are even thinking of becoming seasonal, we can't wait to have the land available. Thanks to Camping Plage Bernard. We'll come back!
