The signage could use a little work, so we knew where to go to dump. But friendly staff inside told us where to go. They agreed about the signs, lol. Since we got our trailer from a Camping World in Oregon, we were able to visit any location to use services. I LOVE that. Thank you guys! Lots of space to back up and turn where we needed to.
I’ve bought several campers from camping world and I’ve always been dedicated to them until recently when I was interested in a truck camper they had for sale for 5000.00. I called them and wanted an out the door price and talked to brandon. Then the general manager called me back and told me the price was 6900.00. I realized I’d be paying tax and title fees but they were only 300.00. They wanted to charge me 1600.00 for prep fees for something that they could have prepped in a hour and the manager admitted that. I asked what they charged per hour and he said 190.00. So I politely asked what the other her fees were for then he said he’d split the fees with me. So 800.00 I’d be paying for something I should have been charged 190.00 for. Camping works grand rapids is scamming customers and have lost me as a customer for life. FYI I’ve spent 150k approximately in last 5 years with them.
Had an awful experience last year. Despite loving our camper, the process was awful, the service was misleading, and they failed to do anything to make it right. Update: it's been 4 months and we still have not gotten our refund for the gap insurance.
Worst purchasing experience I've had in my life. They charged me more than $4,000 over value for my Coleman camper. I suppose that is my own fault for not doing more research but they really get you with the $0 down. Part of that extra cost was also the warranty which I suppose was needed because it has been nothing but problems since I've got it home. They put a half-dollar sized gouge in the wall while packing it up after the walk through so I didn't notice it until I got home. They did pick up the camper and fix the wall for me but they left the table up to bounce around in the trailer for the nearly 2 hours journey, which scratched up the face of the fridge. Then I go on to notice that they did not include the septic drain tube or the MICROWAVE INNARDS! How does a microwave lose the plate and the wheel??? I haven't been able to properly use my microwave all summer because they cannot seem to figure out how to get those parts approved through the corporate ladder. Then I start to notice bulges in the trim where it never got nailed down. Now I sit here writing this review because I've had the last straw. The whole corner of my bed is soaked because the window is leaking like a sieve right through the frame. Water flowing right past the caulk. I am so disappointed in camping world. This is a brand new camper, a 2023 and I am the first owner. At this point I wouldn't even recommend a stop to camping world to someone whom I despise; I can't afford that bad karma.
I purchased a Mercedes Sprinter van from Camping World Grand Rapids. The whole experience from beginning to end was flawless. Each sales associate was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I am new to camping and everyone was so patient and answered all of my questions. The location itself is impeccably maintained. Mitch and Caleb were fabulous sales associates. Mary was like my own personal shopper helping me with certain must have accessories. Chandler went above and beyond explaining every aspect of the RV to a newbie. Then there was Marina who because of her introduced me to the limitless possibilities of owning an RV and perfectly orchestrated the entire process.
