Great place to watch a mid to high level bowl game every year. I stay away from concessions in every stadium. My dad pays for the tickets so you can't beat the price.
We saw Pink! Tickets were $25 same day. Seats were nosebleed and we saw many elderly and possibly disabled people struggling to climb the concrete steps. I have a mild fear of heights but was fine, some folks were openly apprehensive of the feel so high up. Parking is expensive $30(off site)-$80(Camping World adjacent). Probably better off to use the shuttle service and park 2 miles away. Beer/alcoholic drinks $15+, soda $6 12 oz bottle, nachos/pretzels/popcorn $5.50-$7.50. Follow the policy and bring a sealed water bottle or empty water bottle and use the fountains if you're on a budget. Bags must be clear (exception for clutches 4.5 in by 6.5 in or smaller). Security was hit and miss. It days they use metal detecting wands but we did not encounter them nor were we or our bags searched so...
The stadium is great. We had a great experience for our first time in this stadium. You can see and enjoy a match from any angle or seat, and other types of events seems like it's the same. Good illumination at night time. Seats were comfortable enough. Staff was nice and helpful. No roof, little space to cover from sunlight or rain when in the seats. Excellent stadium for events.
I have been here for EDC and Monster Jam. The staff is professional and helpful. They were great helping with parking. One of the few stadiums in Florida that I always have a positive experience.
No line to get in quickly at the Citrus bowl with a lot of people so that was impressive. Beer selection was crap. Bud light, and coor's light for $10. Modelllo and Mich Ultra were considered premium and were $12. The view from just about anywhere in there is a good view though. Best of all the Illini beat a very overrated USC football team and brought the victory home.
