On my first trip to San Diego we stopped here. We stayed for the weekend and camped in tents. It was a wonderful environment and you could walk quickly to the beach. They also had just built a huge playground for kids that’s enclosed. They have the store that you can walk to and get food. It is centralized on the bay and quickly able to navigate to downtown or the coast. Plenty of options and also a wonderfully clean environment. Definitely kid and pet friendly. Generous parking and amenities is all around. They also have plenty of fire pits and centrally located restrooms. They do have showers and for the most part we’re fairly clean. If you choose a camping stall, they are pretty close to the neighbors, but not the biggest thing in the world.
Our campsite was decent although one morning the sprinklers went off and got our site a little wet and muddy because our trailer was parked in dirt. The landscape maintenance came out abruptly and fixed the problem. He was very considerate.Other than that we had a wonderful stay. The bathrooms are clean. People are friendly lots to do. Great location. We will return!
The Campland on the bay is very nice, fun, family and pets friendly. The restrooms and showers are clean through the day, the employees were polite and helpful. The activities are great for adults and children. I come here almost every year, and I definitely will recommend this place to friends and relatives. We had a great time. Thanks to all employees and management to keep people happy.
We took our family & friends camping and had a great time! The park was very clean and had numerous activities to choose from, plus live music in the park. Our RV site was very clean with enough room to park my truck on the same site. We had 6 people plus a big dog & had plenty of room. One of our favorite places to camp. We will definitely come back & we would recommend this campground.
Fantastic Staff!!! Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Always a smile. Amazing sites. Reasonably priced. Large spaces. Clean bathrooms! Great beach access.
