Loved this campsite, it was perfect. The area is very remote and quiet. Plenty of parking space and plenty of flat area in the campsite for tents. Has a fire ring and table. One bit of caution: I camped in mid May and saw 2 timber rattlesnakes nearby. Watch for snakes wherever you go and you should be fine. There's a hiking trail across the road from the campsite or drive down the road a mile and you can park next to the creek at another trailhead. You won't have any cell phone signal anywhere near the campsite but there's a lookout point 3 miles away on cowpens road that does have great cell signal.
