Cane Creek Marina & RV Campground

We absolutely LOVE this campground. Our spring break plans got canceled because of power loss, and I found this place on a search. We called and Keith hooked us up with a temp spot for our friends camper as well as ours. Full hook ups and memories that our kids will remember forever. We love it so much that we put our name on the list for a year round spot. Keith was so accommodating and we are grateful for this opportunity. Can’t wait to come back!!

Wonderful experience and lovely campground. We were able to launch our kayaks and paddle pit to the old mill in the middle of the lake.

We stayed at Cane Creek while scoping land for sale in the near by area. Keith immediately set us up in a wonderful spot, brought a man some cold beer and later drove us to see a wonderful cabin being built overlooking the lake. Talk about staying somewhere you feel like you've known your whole life! We enjoyed the area so much we plan to buy near by and hope to enjoy Cane Creek and Keith's hospitality many times again. We stayed here for 7 night’s, and loved it. Keith, who runs the place was very accommodating and so kind to work with. The sites come in all sizes, our site was towards the top of the hill overlooking the lake and plenty wide. They have a store on the grounds that have the necessities, Keith also offered us a canoe to borrow if we wanted to get out on the water. The semi permanent campers here are friendly and welcoming. We will be back soon!

I apologize for the long explanation but thought you needed to know why this low score. I have waited months to see if they would do right on our agreement. I rented for my 43 foot camper a spot and paid for a year over the phone with Keith. The guys delivered it from Alabama and said there was no way it would fit, I have pictures of the space with two very small campers on each side. Those guys were super upset and said he knew better and that he took advantage of me. My camper would have blocked the entire driveway. It was also a 30 amp service and a camper that size needed a 59 amp service. I bought this camper from an individual off market place. We couldn’t even set it up for him to show me how it worked. I was at a loss of what to do since they had to go back. Finally Keith answered the phone and said for them just to leave it in the grass and we would work something out. I was disappointed but he was nice and said he had about six coming up and he would have it moved for me. I waited and waited for a spot and know I wore Keith out calling and coming by. Keith said his boss said to get the camper moved in three days or they would have it towed. I used Hughs life insurance to buy it for our families to enjoy. I found a local guy that could move it for me since I have nothing to pull it with. My son in law talked with Keith and he said his boss said he would give me back 10 of the 12 months but that was all he would do. I finally got a call from Keith that he had my check. I picked it up and thanked him. After leaving going home to Nashville I saw it said on the check 10 months but it wasn’t. After many attempts to get the rest of my money as promised they never gave it back. I have a copy of my credit card charge and their check showing 10 months refund. My camper was never hooked up and was very mistreated!! Please think twice before you deal with these people. Not honest at all!!
