Great campground! Excellent location, especially if you're hitting a show at Gillette. Only reason I had to take off a star was the bathrooms really need to be cleaned more often. Otherwise, just wear water shoes when you shower and you'll have a great time!
Most expensive campground I’ve gotten on my two week vacation, still had pay showers. Didn’t matter, the bathrooms were filthy, I couldn’t use them anyway. Feces smeared all over, broken toilet paper dispensers, trash full, sinks dirty, showers looked gross. Lots of people living in this “campground “, mud holes everywhere. Camp sites not clearly defined. A tree had fallen on the campsite next to me, no one had cleared it off. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
We had a wonderful stay here. We came for a Kenny Chesney concert, close to Gillette Stadium. Everyone in the park were so friendly! We stayed in cabin 1, it was rustic, so clean and cozy. We will return when we come back for another concert!
Very dated. Read other 1 star reviews from 4-5 years ago and SAME complaints. Rotted wood in ladies room. NO privacy to dry off and change after attempted shower. 3 sites over seasonal rv neglected with multiple chairs and children toys dumped all over. Another site looks like someone took a sledge hammer to fire pit rendering pit unusable or a fire hazard. One shower no hot water, another scalded me . Bathrooms may be professionally cleaned but don't appear to be spot checked rest of 23 hrs. Boats/canoes, for rent, are filthy and yuck. Many people don't care about night noise curfew. Someone needs to spot check sites when someone checks out. Our site had cigarette butts. We don't smoke. Bits of paper, trash, bottle tops. A lot of trash weathered so has been around for awhile. Sad
Our cabin was amazing very clean and big, but the "water view" was not it. Its literally a swamp and lots of trees were blocking the view. The staff was very cool and friendly, the only negative point was the guy next to us gross and disgusting he was spitting all day long we tried to sit on the porch but he was there spitting and smoking. Seriously a real no class redneck it ruins our times outside.
