The park’s prime location near the Santa Ana River offers visitors a chance to connect with nature while enjoying modern amenities.
Canyon RV Park is celebrated for its beautiful open spaces and lush greenery, featuring large cottonwood trees that provide shade and a serene atmosphere throughout the property. The park's grassy areas offer plenty of space for relaxation and recreation, making it an ideal spot for families and groups alike. While the park’s location near a freeway means occasional noise from passing vehicles, many visitors find the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings to be well worth the trade-off.

Customer feedback highlights both the positive aspects and areas for improvement. Many visitors praise the park’s friendly staff and its picturesque setting. However, some reviews note that the park's bathrooms could use improvements, mentioning issues with cleanliness and comfort. Despite these challenges, guests who bring their own RV amenities often find their experience to be very satisfactory.
- Positive Feedback: Guests love the beautiful open areas, large trees, and grassy spaces. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere.
- Negative Feedback: Bathrooms are described as uninviting with concrete floors, cold metal seats, and poor ventilation. Some guests also experienced issues with hot water in showers.
Canyon RV Park is an excellent choice for those seeking a mix of nature and modern convenience. While there’s room for improvement in certain areas, the park’s natural beauty and prime location make it a popular destination for Southern California visitors. Every time we come back to Southern California we book our RV space here. Beautiful open area, lots of large cottonwood trees, grass areas everywhere. Slight downfall is that it is located below a freeway, so you do get a bit of vehicle noise at all hours of day and night, but I believe the beautiful surroundings more than offset this minor inconvenience. Fair price with full hookups. Thoroughly enjoy booming and staying here.
Very beautiful location, and friendly staff. Only complaint is the bathrooms: -bathrooms are similar to jail cells- concrete, no heat , outside airflow going into them, and metal toilet seats that are brutal to sit on because they are freezing cold -bathrooms also don't look to be cleaned often. One set of showers had no hot water. If you were using your own shower and bathrooms in your rv's this place would be great. We weren't using our own, so it was not a great experience.
Nice campground close to home. Can’t believe we have never been here before. Nice green grass areas, great car and van show with an epic rope course. The one bummer I can say is that they close the pool for the winter. Now why in the world would you close a pool in Southern California? Unbelievable. But we managed with out
Called to ask about site availability and provided all my information. Was told on the phone that they could take us for a week and to come on down. No attempt was made on their end to book a reservation. When we arrived maybe 2 hours later suddenly "they don't take drop ins". After driving through two major snow storms as a new young RV couple this was insanely infuriating and we will not be even attempting to book here in the future. Orangeland (20 minutes down) welcomed us immediately. Don't waste your time or money at canyon.
This RV park was one of the prettiest that we stayed at. It's in a park like atmosphere and very quiet. RVs were fairly far apart. They provided a grill and picnic table for each spot. The only complaint I have is the bathrooms and showers look like a prison cell however they were clean. Overall nice park to stay in
