Many visitors have praised the peaceful setting, describing it as a haven away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The beach's natural surroundings, including lush trees and scenic views of the lake, add to its appeal.

One of the standout features of Canyon Swim Beach #2 is its affordability. With a modest $20 fee per car, it offers great value for families and groups looking to spend a day outdoors. The beach also provides basic amenities such as parking areas, restrooms, and trash bins, ensuring a clean and organized environment. While parking can be challenging at times due to limited spaces, the staff makes efforts to maintain the area's presentability.

Customer feedback highlights both the positive and negative aspects of Canyon Swim Beach #2. Many visitors have praised the clarity of the water and its perfect temperature for swimming. One reviewer described it as "so peaceful," emphasizing how the clear waters and calm atmosphere made their experience unforgettable. Others appreciate the efforts of the staff to keep the area clean, noting that it is a testament to the management's commitment to maintaining a presentable space.

However, some visitors have shared their disappointments with certain aspects of the beach. The swimming area has been described as too small, likened to just one square block. Additionally, the beach has more rocks than sand, which can be off-putting for those expecting a sandy shoreline. Another notable issue is the black flaky sand at the water's edge, which tends to stick to skin and clothing. Despite multiple attempts to wash it off, some visitors found it challenging to remove completely.

The water quality has also been a topic of discussion. While some visitors appreciate the dark color of the water, others find it less appealing as it limits visibility underwater. This can make swimming feel less safe for those unfamiliar with the area. Additionally, the muddy and inconsistent bottom of the lake has caused instability while walking or swimming, making it less enjoyable for some.

Despite these drawbacks, Canyon Swim Beach #2 remains a beloved spot for many outdoor enthusiasts. The combination of natural beauty, affordable entry fees, and proximity to other recreational activities makes it a worthwhile destination. For those who enjoy spending time in nature and engaging in water-based activities, this beach offers a unique opportunity to connect with the great outdoors.

If you're planning a visit to Canyon Swim Beach #2, keep in mind that parking can be tricky. It's advisable to arrive early or be prepared for a short wait. Additionally, while the beach may not cater to everyone's preferences, its charm lies in its natural and unpretentious appeal. So disappointed of the place: the swimming area is too small, like one square block, there is more rocks than sand, edge of the water in the “beach” has a consistent flaky black sand that sticks to your skin and clothes and it’s hard to remove even if u dive into water, water is dark and u can’t see through. Personally I love outdoors and going into rivers or lakes, but the bottom of the water is so muddy and inconsistent that sucked your feet or shoes and you feel so unstable walking around. Good thing is that the workers seems to take care of all the trash and keep it presentable BUT of course is the minimum after charge $20 per car. Parking is kinda challenging too.

Dirty and overcrowded. $20 to park on a Saturday. Dog friendly but no off leash areas. We tried to go to the other side of the lake but it was full and we were redirected here. Maybe try to get to the other side earlier? Idk I don’t think we will be back

First time to this side of the beach. We have been to side one before. I was amazed how clean their portal pottys were, clean enough to were I didn't have to hold my breath. Nice clean beach. Friendly cashier up front and they even gave you a burlap sack for your trash upon arrival. Thanks

$20 for inadequate parking and what is essentially a mud wallow. Don't waste your money.
