Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of July 2022. This was during my cross country van trip. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our time here. The owner June was so friendly and down to earth, she introduced us to the gentleman who work there. They too were super nice, they came over and talked with us for quite some time and by the end of the night we were playing with their dog. The first night it was just us, and then some others showed up and everyone else too seemed to enjoy their time. It’s located in such a beautiful place and they have an amazing venue there as well. Can’t wait to come back!
A group of five of us stayed in cabin 5 for five days at the end of August, 2021. We had a wonderful stay. June, the owner was very personable and was very helpful the entire stay. She knew the area, gave us shortcuts to take, fishing spots, and hiking suggestions. I spoke with her several times on the phone before our stay. She was always very nice and helpful. Cabin 5 was just what we were looking for as a group. There was a nice deck to enjoy. It was very clean when we arrived.
June was an incredible host! We stayed at a tent site for a week and it had a stunning view. We had access to a large sink only a couple feet away, and everything was well kept and clean. So glad we found her place, we will definitely be back!
We would give this place five stars, as it is quite beautiful. Lots of hiking and beautiful views. The manager was nice, and pointed out some.good hiking trails. However, I reserved a tent site for three of my kids. I paid 88 dollars. The girls both 19 are nature enthusiasts, one even taught rock climbing for summer camp and we sent our 16 year old son just to have a tall strong guy around for added safety and he also loves the outdoors. When the kids returned I got a surprise 41 dollar additional charge on my card. When I spoke with the manager, she said it is 20 dollars per person per night and that we only paid for 2 people. Ouch! So for a tent, that they put up it cost 129 dollars for 2 nights. Originally they were going to get a room, so they could hike all day and then relax with all the amenities at night, but wanted to stay less expensive. When it was all said and done, they could have gotten the room. Last summer, We paid 60 a night at a super nice KOA with 2 pools, a waterslide, volleyball court, flushing toilets and showers, for our entire family we are a big family too. Thank goodness we didn't all decide to go. ❤️😭
I camped here for four nights and it was a great experience. The sky was amazing and clear for all but the last night. The river across the road was calming and serene. The landscape was nice and the people were friendly. Great restaurant down the road, good store across the street, good facilities. The owner is very nice and accommodating. I would like to return someday...
Cozy little spot with cabins, RV spots, and tent areas. They also have a large entertainment area with a playground. This campground has the ability to host events such as weddings and group gatherings. 2023-07-22: We rented a tent site this time and had an awesome time!! You can have a campfire and the tent sites are flat with sand and a few trees for shade. They have a place to get water to put your fire out as well as a small wagon to haul your gear to your site. The camp host was very kind and helpful as well. This is definitely a great spot for a weekend or extended stay!
