Customer Feedback: "We always have a wonderful time at CaPs. It's not overcrowded & great for families. The owners and staff are always accommodating and easy to work with. They have a wonderful spot on the river & it helps they have tubing transportation and sell ice & beverages for when we run out!"

Another visitor shared, "Been coming here every June for a while now and it's a great place to stay. I've stayed in the cabins which are great. I've pitched a tent there which was great especially having electricity at even site. Stayed with an RV and has full hook up. The owners and staff there are great! Very helpful and welcoming. We get shuttled upstream and arrive back at the camp site within 2 to 3 hours depending on the flow. Or you can start there or keep going from the upstream to lonestar and get shuttled back up. They make sure your safety is first and they confirm your party hasade it back. Definitely got to try them out!"

This was our second year in a row staying and we LOVE it! The location on the river is perfect for families with kids (not to deep). It is a smaller campsite so it is never over crowded. The owners are just amazing and make you feel so welcomed. Overall we love staying here and plan to have many more trips soon.

Beautiful gem of a camping site. We stayed in tent 4 right on the water on a weekend in July. It was HOT but the river was a nice cool down. I would recommend bringing a large box fan if you are tent camping, they have outlets next to the campsite. The site itself was clean and had decent toilets and showers. Everyone at our campsite was quiet at midnight (the rules) but there are lodges next door that were very loud way past midnight and it was a terrible first night of loud music and screaming. But once we got the box fan it drowned out a lot of noise. I would come back here just not in the heat of the summer if you are tent camping or rent a cabin with a/c. I did enjoy floating the River with caps crossing and they provided nice quality tubes with sturdy bottoms. Overall a nice stay, just way too noisy and hot for me. I would recommend coming on a weekday if possible to avoid large parties next door.
