My girlfriend and I had a truly wonder stay. We pulled up late, set up our tent and listened to my radio 📻 while we fell asleep ;) my only qualm would be that the campsites 🏕️ were quite a bit too close for my liking, but overall it was a splendid experience! 💯

Excellent stay at the state park campground. It is my favorite campground in the World. Has the incredible scent of shady loblolly pines, and a good dash of WWII history, with excellent beaches and clean facilities. It also boasts free bike rental and excellent, paved and unpaved trails. This time we had the pleasure of tour to discover and forage wild plants led by a biologist named Richard, who was as sharp, whitty and charming as Bill Nye.

I drove a school bus full of kids here for a Senior Trip. What a Beautiful Place !!!!! The campgrounds were amazing. Close to the water and a Quaint Town. Will definitely be back for a weekend stay. Just without the kids.

Beautiful lighthouse. We saw this when we took the CMLF journey. It's beautiful to look at. We also spotted dolphins 🐬 around this lighthouse.
