This was such a fun place to Kayak. The campground was smaller and sites are a bit close but the waterway was amazing! Great fishing location as they jumped all around us. There’s a vault toilet just up from the launch area. Bring your mosquito spray! Lots of birds to see in the area and this leads up to the lake, only for kayaks or canoes though, boats won’t make it through the shallows.

This campground was the best around. It’s still beautiful and the hosts are amazing. The only issue is this new bathroom. How in the heck is a full campground supposed to get by with 1 shower/toilet combo for each??? There are constantly lines and God forbid someone needs to use the restroom while someone is taking a shower.
