It was a nice, simple campground. Small walk downhill from campsite to water access. I believe each campsite has a trail from their own campsite to the water so everyone has a private entrance. The road is pretty close so you can hear cars, but there is hardly any traffic at night. The water was refreshingly cool when paired with 90 degree weather. Strong currents at certain points so children should be supervised. It is rocky so it is nice to lay out on a big rock, but can be hard to walk on and slippery at times from algae at entry point. BBQ pit, food locker and scratchy picnic table provided at campsite. No showers. Two water spigots. Dogs are allowed but on leash. We went on a Monday so the portapotty had been recently serviced and was clean. I did not use the other built in outhouse as flies were in company.

This place was pretty great almost every site has it's own access to the water. They did just cut down some trees so some sites like 15 have no shade at camp at mid day even by water. 16 is the same but there is shade by water. 17 had a lot more shade but more bugs, because of lots of bushes and blackberry all around edges. The water at these sights listed above are not deep enough to swim only wade or sit in a chair. Bathrooms were clean bring toilet paper theirs is not worthy lol. It's right by the highway but at night there is only an occasional vehicle at night after 11. Overall enjoyed our trip.

Right on the Yuba river with easy access. Sites 2 & 3 are best.

We found nice camping here. Reservations and a few FCFS. Yuba fresh cool H20. We enjoyed the sounds of the birds and the flowing river. We did not particularly enjoy the rapid fire of semi auto weapons from the hills across the highway, mid morning, and mid day Saturday and Sunday. Dogs all over camp were freaking out.
