Carmel by the River RV park was such a fabulous place to visit. The camp is very accommodating, and we very much enjoyed our trip there! We had a large group of 20 family members this weekend. The inside space was great for the kids at night when the weather got cold. We also enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend.
So well maintained! If you get a spot with patio furniture, it is great quality! Even the fences in the park are impeccably painted. Tons of plants and flower beds. Very quaint and quiet place to stay yet close enough to Carmel by the Sea and Monterey towns. Definitely will be back!
Wow! This place is truly a hidden gem. Quiet and peaceful with most sites having privacy hedges between them. Beautiful landscaping. Level sites with fresh gravel and a very friendly and accommodating team. A short 15 minute drive to Carmel and 20 minutes to Monterey. Great restaurants in wineries within minutes of the park in the valley. Only downside is the circuitous narrow Road from the highway to the park.
What a pleasant surprise! Having made reservations at a site we couldn't get to due to road closure, we had to look for a family vacation plan B, but couldn't have asked for a better option. The sites are set within a lovely garden, well maintained and surprisingly private. The staff are courteous and we were so happy to have had three nights spent there, even if it wasn't the original plan. A beautiful place you've got, we hope tp stay again, next time on purpose.
Charming little RV park, full service, very friendly owner, quiet and calm. Narrow road, de-facto "one way" (RVs outbound in the morning, inbound in the afternoon). We very much enjoyed our stay.
