Fantastic! Amazing location with creek and rock cliff right behind. Quiet. Super friendly host who really works hard to keep bathrooms clean.
Amazing little campground! The bathrooms were kept clean and stocked and the family that tends to the campground were super nice - their son even sat and visited with us for a bit one evening. This was our first time at Flaming Gorge and I'm sure we'll be back! Carmel is on the entrance/exit of the Sheep Creek Scenic Byway and I'd suggest a nice bicycle ride a few miles in from the campground in the morning or evening for some fantastic scenery (the middle of the day was too hot for us to be on the bikes).
Nothing fancy here except the views, stream and quiet. Great base for Flaming Gorge.
