The campsite was great. Loop C has spots that are more spread out and gave us some extra space. Good spot for kayaking, be warned motor craft are also using this lake so know how to deal with the wakes. Staff was very friendly and the store across from the park has Amazing food all day. No cell service or wifi, making this perfect for tech decompression
What a great little campground! The lake is wonderful and you can rent kayaks and canoes. We had a blast
Fond memories were forged here over many years, Memorial Day weekend at the campground was a rite of passage. Hanging out by the campfire with friends and family, always in the rain for some reason, is just good old fashioned fun. This place creates life long friendships and stories.
Beautiful campgrounds and very nice staff. Worst camping experience by far. The other campers were wild to say the least. Children ran through our site screaming multiple times. Silly string all along the bridges and walkways. They toilet papered the bathroom closest to us, shoving tp down the sink. Cars blasting music from 9 am to 10:30 pm with curses and heavy base. Extremely inappropriate behavior between a man and woman in the women's shower room, even with several other women in the building including a minor. The staff was friendly and seemed to handle each situation quickly and as best they could. Even still, we will certainly not be back and if you're looking for a calm weekend getaway this is *not* the place.
What a wonderful time and a beautiful place. The water at the beach is crystal clear, and you can go pretty far out, and still not be very deep. The staff are great and friendly and the park is super clean. The price is great per night. Not hard for a quick get away with such a prime location close to town.
