CUSTOMER FEEDBACK:
"We were there today to go fishing. As we arrived at the lake it started to rain. But you know that this is Colorado. Wait 15 minutes and it will be great weather. And so we waited for 10 minutes and the sun came out. The fish were jumping right out of the water. Come and check it out for yourself." -

Great escape on the Grand Mesa. Fall is so beautiful up there.
This is a beautiful place to fish. It's very peaceful and so nice and quiet. The road down to the lake is seriously rough and bumpy, so you might not want to try it in a little car, you might be better off to take a truck or similar type vehicle. This is also a great place for camping as well. The lake is being drained around August or September of 2018, so if you get there before then the daily catch limit is temporarily suspended.
The drive was spectacular but at Carson Lake they are doing construction and it's dry right now. Highly recommend for the drive to and from though!
