We stayed in cabin 6. Walking in was like walking back in time and magical! We stayed two nights with family who also had cabin 3. Kids had an amazing time and it was money well spent! Much rather spend the cash to stay here than on a hotel/motel room! Beautiful scenery and the owners were extremely accommodating and friendly. It was truly a community feeling and they made us feel so welcome. You won't regret any time you spend here!!
This is a convenient location to stay when recreating either along the Carson River or Hernan Lake. They have both rooms and a small RV park. They have a small convenience store with snacks & drinks and WiFi available but only at the front desk. Very nice & courteous people. Stayed at the RV Park, did not go inside the rooms, but they appear nice from the outside.
What a trip cannot get better. FISH and more fish awesome little shop get your gear or re supply! Phil is amazing. If he's not there do not worry wife has his back. Check this place out for sure!
Do not stay in the river cabin !!! I tried to be nice and let the owners/management know with this email but nobody replied. Cabin should be like $170 a nite but it’s $308 with tax. Giant rodents are living in the attic and they ran us out at 3 am, rodent urine is dripping from the ceiling !! YES !! The baby’s were screaming thru out the nite and running around dragging stuff, it was gross and very unsafe to guests, that cabin needs shut down. I totally get a mouse here and there as it is a cabin on a river, but you can’t have dog sized possums or raccoons living in the attic with insulation and urine/feces dripping down. They still have not fixed the holes in the window screens, let’s mosquitos in. The insulation that the rodents were dragging around caused our skin to itch bad, never again will I come here since nobody cared at all to contact me back and offer me a little money back or an apology.
Watched a Carson band One Way Street outdoors. It was awesome and the staff was great! Phil and his wife own this woodsy Cabin Resort. Not a fancy resort. No pool or fancy restaurant. Rugged accomodations if camping is your thing
