Mr Bobby and the entire community was just welcoming and sweet. Don't let the initial view of this place deter you. I made friends and miss it already. If I ever find myself traveling back through VA, this will be my go to.

Please don't look at the few negative reviews to form your opinion. This place is designed for people who are working and not interested in partying every night. Quiet and very well maintained. Not trashy, and daffodils are planted everywhere. Mr Carter is a very nice Southern gentleman and he is particular about his tenants.

Nice little campground. My husband stayed there for about a month while working in the area and really enjoyed it. He said the guy that works there is extremely pleasant to work with and friendly. When the kids and i visited overnight to go to water country, we really appreciated the proximity to all the fun too! Would definitely stay again.

This is a very nice shaded campground. Quiet with a Dollar General and Seven 11 in walking distance. A very nice southern gentleman runs it and he is awesome. He is so sweet, knowledgeable and polite. He is just the kindness manager I have ever meant. He tries and keeps the ground neat and safe for patrons, animals and children. Plants daffodils and so pretty in the spring. Really has made the place more attractive by putting up new fences and painting. Karen kept the bathrooms very nice and clean and well stocked to. Enjoy going there.

Stayed for 4 nights in July. Bobby was kind enough to let us stay an extra 2 nights when we decided to explore Williamsburg some more. It's mostly full timers here, but he had some nights available for our timeframe. We went to Busch Gardens 2 days and this place was perfect! Since we only have a camper van, we didn't want to drive it to BG, pay the fee, and have it sit out in the heat. Instead we walked to the road and caught the bus! Very reasonable fee, but only runs about every hour, plan accordingly. There is a Dollar General next door to restock. The laundry room was good. Full hookups were great as it was hot and muggy out!

We have been staying here while working in the area. Many long term tenants. Quieter than any other place we have been. Towering trees above, and 4 beautiful seasons! The manager, maintenance man, and everyone else have been great to know! Only 3 little snows this year-perfect! Hardwood trees giving plenty of shade.
