Customer Reviews
This site was great. A short two mile hike from the trail head lead us through a few meadows and some light wooded areas. We saw mule deer doe and a buffalo bull on our way in. Once we got to the site, we had a great view of the lake from our tent. Listened to a bull elk across the lake bugle most of the night. Woke up early to 3 cranes 50 yards from our tent. Frost on the ground and a thin layer of ice on the lake. Right at sun up, a wolf crossed the meadow towards the lake. What an amazing experience!
