Beautiful location and great staff. As others mentioned, the trains are no joke! They can't really do much in regards to this. You will need earplugs. I recommend this KOA provide a pair for each person staying. It'll help make the stay much more enjoyable, and hopefully give this place the rating it deserves

Beautiful small KOA. Great staff & very clean facilities!!! Perfect location to do the waterfall tours of the area. BUT - the trains are bad!!! Right up against the campground & a very active track. YES - Every hour 24/7 blowing the horn. Would recommend this campground with the condition that you can sleep though anything.

This is a small, great little campground. However, there is something you have to know. TRAINS, TRAINS,TRAINS,TRAINS!!!!! The train tracks run 20 yards from the campground. They are extremely noisy. They quiet down during the evening, but you better be prepared at 4 AM, they run every 45 minutes and honk their horn directly through the campground. Very nice staff..

I recently stayed at this KOA and had mixed feelings about my experience. While the staff were absolutely fantastic, were helpful and friendly, and the overall beauty of the site was stunning, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and amenities. The campsite itself had trash left behind from previous guests, which was a big letdown. The bathroom facilities were in poor condition—there were no locks on the shower doors, and the showers were dirty. The sinks were also plugged with hair, making it difficult to use them. Additionally, a few soap dispensers were empty, which was inconvenient. Considering the state of the bathrooms, I found the pricing to be too high. The beautiful surroundings and excellent staff can't fully compensate for the lack of cleanliness and basic amenities. Overall, I would rate my stay a 2 out of 5. This KOA has great potential but needs significant improvements in maintaining cleanliness and providing essential bathroom supplies.

Really great campground, especially for families. Pool during the summer, nice playground, game room, large store with necessities and fun stuff, laundry, and clean (free!!) showers. Lots of spaces for rvs, but also a ton of cabins to rent, and plenty of tent sites. Very easy to get to, and really close to the quaint town of Cascade Locks. The area is very central to plenty of outdoor activities, night life, family fun, restaurants, shopping, etc.

It is very clean and pretty under huge pine trees. There isn't a view of the Columbia River and the bathrooms - which have recently been remodeled - smell horribly of mold. The trains go by all night.

Neat KOA tucked away in Cascade Locks, but close enough to the highway it's not hard to get to. Bathrooms were amazing, park was very clean and cabins were adorable!

This is literally one of the cleanest KOAs I have ever been to, if not the cleanest (and I probably stay in at least 10 different locations a year for the past two years) From the bathrooms to the pool to the laundry room, they were always spotless. The staff is super nice and they do a lot of fun things for guests. Yes, there is a railroad track directly behind it, but I feel like that's almost every KOA in America. 🤣 buy a solid set of silicone ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, although it seemed like the trains came less frequently at night. Also the location can't be beat if you're looking to explore the gorge.
