Quiet. Boardwalk is a great walk to see the water and some turtles. Treehouses look nice. I stayed in the campground. Only negative was that the water spigot at my campsite was completely underwater. I had to bail out the water to be able to use.
This was a nice, no frills campground run by the Town of Windsor. The campground and bathhouse were very clean. Behind the campground was a public boat launch and a boardwalk leading to the treehouses. The staff at Town Hall were very responsive. We would stay here again. At $35.00 a night for a full hook up campsite, it’s a hidden gem.
Great secluded campground with plenty of space between sites and in walking distance from the boat ramp to the river. Well maintained facilities. Right in Winsdor where you can get your groceries and great cell reception.
For my 1st trip with our RV, I spent 4 days at this site. The online registration was quick & easy, and in no time, I was hooked up and enjoying the peace & quiet on the Cashie River. I'm looking forward to a return trip with my wife in tow, and I highly recommend this spot.
Cashie River campground was very much like any other small campground. 16 sites including pull through and back in. Most of the back in sites were on the low side of the campground. No internet or Radio service available however the cell service was good so streaming was very good. No fire rings or picnic tables at a lot of the sites. The campground and the facilities were clean. However a spray for mosquitoes would be very good. I would stay there again in a pinch but I would be better prepared. Price was very reasonable.
