Casini Ranch Family Campground

We love coming here. It is a beautiful spot on the river. The facilities are well maintained and clean. They have great staff who are friendly and stop to engage you in conversation to make sure you have everything you need (shout out to Camp Host Anthony for you help with firewood). We've already booked our trips for 2025! There are a couple of nice places walking distance (a bakery, a sandwich shop, a bistro). Wifi is strong. Good mountain biking and kayaking.

Absolutely amazing place to stay if you want to camp near the Russian river. So many trails and places to explore, so much wildlife, (including some snakes! So be careful!) and most of the staff is very nice. But bikers need to stay off of the west beach. (Not the north beach) this is because there’s hundreds of little thorn head plants that can easily pop your tires.

Such a wonderful vacation! My family of four had such a great time enjoying the river, playground, feeding the animals, going on the “hey” ride and the ice cream social. Next time we definitely want to do the jumping pillow and move night. We loved our spot - a standard campsite that was remote, private and beautifully situated riverfront. The staff are awesome especially considering they are managing some rude people who don’t obey rules. Most negative reviews are because they enforce the quiet hours (10pm-8am) and that’s exactly why we booked. We’re so happy that it’s peaceful after 10pm. Such a great stay!

We had a lovely 2 night stay in one of the deluxe cabins this weekend. It had one comfy bed downstairs which my hubby and i slept on and 2 mattresses upstairs which my nephew slept on. He is 6'2 and he slept upstairs comfortably. Our bed was nice, a little lumpy for my preference, but I'm just being a princess there. There were outlets in the room with USB ports. Wifi is free but a little spotty depending on where you are... but you're camping so get off your phone! There are bathrooms with showers and there are water spigots all over the campground and they even have washers and dryers! At the general store, you can order firewood to be delivered to your site and anything you can possibly need is in that store. Every single employee we interacted with was incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. If you have kids, they will sleep well at night because of all the endless activities they have access to. Casini Ranch runs along the Russian River, so bring your swimsuits, the water is incredible. You can rent kayaks or canoes from the campground. At night, it can get foggy and pretty cold, so pack for cold weather but on a clear night, the sky is something else- make sure to take a look! If you're considering Casini Ranch, I highly recommend it! It's pretty perfect.

Casini ranch is fit for family fun. Sun shines as it's tucked inland off the coast, close to Bodega Bay. It was beautiful to see families on the water, paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming. The staff is friendly and the grounds well kept. The campsites are spacious and offer a variety of views. There's a sense of privacy with the tree lines. Cabins are available and there's RV hook ups too. There's 2 dog parks, general store, activities, bouncy fun, baseball field and hoops. We hiked a nearby trail that was a minute or two away from the grounds. They even deliver wood right to your campsite
