All of these reviews and like zero pics of the actual campground. This place is huge and nicely laid out with a loop. No grassy areas like some other forest service group sites. Pit toilet and two trash receptacles. Gated access which will certainly keep looky loos away. I took a walk around video but I will post that to YouTube.
I have lived in this community my entire life and have always enjoyed fishing for trout in the surrounding fishing holes however there are TINY SIGNS posted stating that you can't catch trout here which completely ruined the trip. What's the point in fishing if you can't keep them?
No trout today. But usually a great place to fish. Hopefully they swam upstream and weren't wash away in the flood.
Great campground. I have both rented it and been during hunting season while open for free and always have enjoyed myself. Great place for families and friends.
The wife loves to catch and release trout at this location
One of the best places to go fly fishing!
The bridge and view was pleasant but the gate to the camp ground was locked.
