This is our second time staying at this RV park. We’ve enjoyed stopping here on our way to Arches. Everything is clean and well maintained! Helped us a very cute town with a lot of places to eat and walk around. I noticed the bathrooms and showers are wheelchair accessible and they have spots with wheelchair accessible picnic tables.
We arrived after office hours, and not having a US address couldn't book online. However there's a cool way of accommodating later none booked arrivals. A box contains envelopes with the free spots and a map so you choose which one you want, fill in your details and and post either with credit card details or as we did cash. The facilities are excellent. Really nice shower/ restroom units and also a 24 hour laundry room which after 3 weeks on the road well needed. My only comment if you're looking to book is that the railway line is close by and the Freeway also so it's not a fully peaceful nights sleep unless you have earplugs. All in all though a good stop to reset ready for the next leg of our journey to Arches and the Grand Canyon.
Castle Gate RV Park was a convenient stop on our way back from Mesa Verde and Arches National parks. Until staying I had never paid attention to Helper, UT, outside of Price, it was just a curve in the road. What an enchanting mining town with a rich heritage. The campground attached a guide to local things to do and places to eat. Such a helpful and friendly staff. We loved it. We were able to see the Northern Lights shortly after our arrival adding to our experience.
Nice RV Park with very friendly staff. Gravel throughout with tons of trees and grass areas for the pups. Ample site spacing and solid 50 amp power. The sound of the river is nice and it's cool to watch the freight trains passing through. Town is half a mile away with lots to see.
I had never stayed at an RV park before. The staff here were so friendly! They found me a site that was easy to get into and answered all my questions. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept. There's even a small playground and a splash pad. Would definitely stay here again! We loved it!
