Castle Rock Lakefront Campark, located at 2811 Mackinac Trail, St Ignace, MI 49781, offers a camping experience with notable scenic views. You can contact them at (906) 643-9222 or +1 906-643-9222. As a Campgrounds & RV Parks location, it provides sites for tents and RVs.
A key feature of this campground is the elevated views it offers. Visitors have described the views as some of the best available. The views from the top are considered by many to be well worth the climb.
In addition to the scenic views, Castle Rock Lakefront Campark is described as a clean and well-laid-out campground. Reviews indicate that the campground maintains a spacious feel, even when near full capacity. The hosts are reported to be pleasant and the site fees are considered reasonable.
The camp store has also received positive feedback. One reviewer mentioned a positive experience when purchasing a 50 to 30 amp adapter, noting that the store's pricing was fair.
Overall, Castle Rock Lakefront Campark offers a combination of beautiful lakefront views and a clean, well-managed camping environment. It is important to be prepared for a climb to access the best views.

Some of the best views you can get. Be prepared for a difficult climb up the stairs. It's good for ya. Gets the blood pumping. The hike down isn't so bad. The views are worth it. It took me a second to get comfortable being so high up. I'm really glad I went up.
A nice, clean, well laid out campground. It didn't feel full, even though we got one of last few spots available that night. Pleasant hosts, reasonably priced sites, and they could have robbed me at the camp store when I needed a 50 to 30 amp approved, but they didn't.
Amazing little campground. Do not hesitate to stay here. Excellent hosts, beach, disc golf. This place is a hidden gem.
The employees running this place are very short and will cut you off in mid sentence. I was disappointed in the way my family and I were treated. I'm not very happy with our sites being right next to the waste dumpage for campers and rvs and also right by the dumpster. Smelled nasty and blocked the way to leave when there's a line to dump. Avoid sites 10 and 11!! We will not be staying here again.
Very comfortable park. Large shallow bay. Good for kids to play in the water and for taking them kayaking. You are on one of the big lakes and thus susceptible to the weather effects.
we enjoyed our stay. The shallow water at the lake was perfect for the kids to play and kayak. The staff was super nice and the laundry room was great. The showers could use an upgrade, since you have to constantly press a button to turn on the water without being able to keep it on. Everything else was great!
