Customer Reviews
Found this campground after failing to reserve ahead of time at any others. Very quite minutes from Pictured Rocks. The vault toilets were very clean and no bad smell! There is a well available and firewood for $5 a stack! Fire pit and picnic tables at each site. No check-in or check-out times. $25 a night for a site. 2 small cabins available for $50 and a home available for rent through Vrbo. Stayed here 3 nights and it never got busy! About 4 campers a night! Yes this campground is unmanned, so honest policy is in place for paying. Overall really enjoyed this campground we found on a whim and I felt safe!
Cute little campground! We normally do dispersed camping but in this area there wasn’t much that I could find. After a quick search we found this place and it was perfect. There’s water, a hand pump, a bathroom and firewood. The bathroom was the cleanest pit toilet I have EVER seen. Location was excellent as we were exploring the Upper Peninsula and you’re right in the heart of it here. Overall I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a camp spot in this area. It’s easy to see they care about their campground. There’s also a restaurant/bar with good food about one mile north of this campground.
Great spot for rustic camping. Has a water pump and a cleanpit toilet. Night lights at each site. Very dim but enough to walk to restroom. Great price for wood and only 25$ a night is a steal. Location for trails is great too. A Third of the way up the coast means trails to east and west. Beach is 10 minutes by car. Great spot, and QUIET!! GET THERE NOW! you won't regret it. No electric or plumbing hook up.
Very nice and clean. We were trail riding utvs and camping along the way. We lost 1 tent on the trail, and this place has a couple little cabins you can rent. Bathrooms were very clean.
We stayed here and it was perfect!!! Very private and it’s one of the first come first serve ones! Which is perfect for us! The bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms at a camp I’ve ever seen! The spaces are nice! Not a lot of shade but the trees will fill out beautifully! Best part is it’s like 10 minutes out from all site seeing! There’s a cute restaurant right down the road. The gentlemen that runs the camp stopped by and it was super nice having someone check it! It made it very welcoming! The wood was well stocked and since there are not very many trees it makes it perfect for star gazing!!!!!
