Great free site! The camps were clean, all had grills, tables, and a nice spot for a tent. Beautiful view, and there's an awesome hiking/biking trail that starts from the site. Even on the crowded labor day weekend the site was more than half empty. We made it there fine in a Corolla; lots of washboards, but the road was well maintained otherwise. We'll definitely be back

This place is what you, me, and everyone else is looking for that love nature. Please treat it with respect. This is my new favorite spot in the South Fork area. This trail is EPIC! Some of the best views I have ever seen. Be careful. There are downed trees that bock the trail around a mile in. These are very slick. Pit toilets are nice. Picnic tables and a fire pit are at all campsites. The trails are EPIC. There are two water crossings. FYI, the water is still cold in the morning. Although, for me, it's better than coffee.

Brought Amish group hunting and got a bull elk up mountain from camp. Beautiful campground near river and nice clean bathrooms.

The road driving up there is a little bit rough for my sedan, but after reaching the destination, the scenes and views make everything worth it. Also, the camp grounds are all open for free and the whole places are pretty clean. Thanks to those that making efforts to keep up the place for everyone enjoyment!

This place was awesome. I spent three days there camping. I was all alone!!! Each camping lot had an area to park, set up a tent, a fire pit, and there was even pre cut wood to use. There was several clean restroom spots with toilet paper. There was an area to throw away trash. I got a spot that was next to the creek and it was so cool listening to it at night. There was a variety of birds, I saw a rabbit, and I believe there may have been an elk passing by due to the tracks I found. I definitely would love to come back in the near future.
