Should be called CATHEDRAL GORGEOUS STATE PARK.. This is a place where you will never see somewhere else like it on earth. The slots are right there by parking and you can wander around up and around them for hours if you want. You pay $10 they have restrooms down at the end of the road by the picnic areas. It was basically empty the day we went. There is a gas station right in the cute little town 3 mi outside of it but you will pay a lot more for gas.
This is a perfect place to camp. Great for those on their way further south from up north. Eight hour drive to Boise or to Phoenix. Hookups at all sites if you need them. No generators allowed. Several nice hiking trails too. The slot canyons are cool but definitely do the juniper wash loop too.
We stayed here for first time last night and it is amazing here. So well maintained and outstanding beauty. We had ADA site 24 right next to showers and group camp. Quiet and easy walk to see slot canyons and trails. Will never pass it by again!
Really pretty State Park with some fun mud slots canyons and hikes. Nice campground with large spots.
Absolutely worth spending some time here. Paid camping spots have a great restroom that has a shower...LOVED THAT We enjoyed exploring the area.
