We just left after a last minute 4 night stay and we already can’t wait to go back. The scenery is beautiful, the staff is beyond friendly and super helpful, and all of the activities were on schedule and exceeded expectations. The campground was exceptionally clean and well kept. We have a 2 month old and 1 year old who are quite noisy and we asked if we could be moved to a site further from neighbors and the staff accommodated us to the most perfect site without any hesitation or issues. We will be returning next year around the same time to enjoy the gorgeous fall foliage in the area and Halloween activities!!

The people here are wonderful. It was so wonderful. We have gone twice and plan to go again. On our first trip here we missed our leaving window from home. Not wanting to arrive in the dark, we skipped the first night of our two-night trip. On our second trip, I fell and twisted my ankle. So we left on day two of our three-day trip. On both trips, the crew here were wonderful to us. They came and picked up my wife to get us dinner from the food cart up the hill. They were so friendly. The last trip was in the fall and our site faced the mountain across the river. Very beautiful. They have many KOA-type activities for the family and you can ride a float down the river across the park. I would recommend this campsite to anyone that wants to get away in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful country. This is a great place to get away.

Absolutely beautiful area. Very remote. Nice nature trails, playground etc. But unlike most KOAs that have groomed gravel pads and even patios, our site 259 was on the edges of a grassy field, but the area all around the RV parking was just dirt so very MESSY. We were tracking in mud just from the dew. KOA should require gravel be added before they are marketed as KOA sites. It really made our stay unenjoyable. In the morning they were using a riding mower to gather leaves and it was a dust bowl. Other areas besides ours may have been fine. The sewer hookup on #259 was too far away to hook into but the public drain was good. The area we stayed in was side by side sites very close together with nothing in-between.

We stayed here October 2024. What a true gem on the Schoharie Creek. The staff was outstanding. Courtesy transport from camper staging to the office ,“Thanks Mike”!. Smooth registration with Amy and Gina. Personal escort to our site. No searching around with your camper in tow. This is a big campground and I could see how that could happen even with a map. Activities all day long for kids and adults. Perfect Wi-fi Great cell service Cable TV included 50 amp hookups all over Great little camp store. If they don’t have it, they know where to get it (or may get it for you!) Coming back??? YOU BET WE ARE!!!

Pros: Spacious, very well kept grounds, clean. The Camp store offers a variety of items for purchase. Daily activities for kids and adults. Ie" Ceramics, bingo...just to name a few..my kids participated in the finding a decorative rock game and enjoyed it! It was fun for me also. Lol, beautiful playground. Cons: Within the "things to do booklet," it does state Kayak Rental....I found that information to be inaccurate. When planning to rent a Kayak management did inform us They did not keep Kayak's on the grounds, and we would have to go way up the street to complete a whole booket from the DEC and so on, But luckily my family did have our Tubes, and they also had tubes for purchase. Please update the booklet for current information. Other than that...an excellent experience we will def return. Don't forget to try the " Local Fudge" simply superb!!

We are seasonal campers here and we love it! We have great neighbors and we love everything about the campground. Our seasonal site we love more each year as we make it a little more feeling like home. We enjoy our fire nights as well as spending time with family and the dogs at our campsite making new memories. There is so much to do here. There are an abundance of facilities, we enjoy spending time down by the creek during warm weather to cool off. We enjoy the many DJ and band nights at the Pavilion, which are usually scheduled every weekend! There's a great in-ground pool area just next door to that too. There are lots of games and activities the campground schedules for kids and adults, as well as cornhole boards horseshoe pits that they have weekly tournaments as well as you can go and play anytime on your own and enjoy. There's a hiking trail which can bring you into the woods if you're a nature lover you can go to Mine Kill State Park and see the waterfall and the amazing water and nature views along the way! This is only a bit of what we enjoy about coming here and we will continue to enjoy it in the years ahead!

My husband and I, Michael Keahon love this place! I have so many childhood memories here. Which is why this is our home away from home. My parents, brother, myself and my husband and my aunt are all seasonals. We are so thankful for Cathy Hill Reinard for making this park as incredible as ever. There is so much here for families, and the activities are endless. The area that this park is located is so magical. The Catskills are one of the most incredible places to visit and no better way to do it than visit the KOA in the Catskills ! Come see For yourself! You’ll fall in love

We just started this year but I have been very happy. The owner is VERY nice and so is Gina. They have went out of their way to answer all my emails before arriving. I have been reading a lot of comments about noise from the bands when quiet time is at 10, we'll band stops at 10. It clearly states the entertainment on weekends. I for one look forward to it. The pool is great and very clean, the creek is also very nice. The bathrooms are extremely clean and nice. The playgrounds are great, always something for the kids to do! Everyone's been very nice to us. The only thing I wish KOA would consider is the visitors pricing, esp on holidays. I think it's too steep. 20 a day is a lot, but it is what it is. All campgrounds have their rules and u have to comply even if your not so happy. So, all in all I still rate this a 5, and would recommend to anyone. All rates are crazy right now with everything you do.
