My wife and I have been coming to Cave Country RV Campground since it first opened. The owners have made a lot of positive changes over the years. They have added a pool and pickleball courts. The grounds are always immaculate and well groomed. All sites are pull-through. There is good spacing between the camping sites. The people at the front desk always have a positive attitude and are ready to answer any questions you might have. We give this campground 5 stars because you can tell that the management cares about your comfort and that they want you to have a wonderful time while you are at the campground. We highly recommend that if you are in the area, consider staying at Cave Country RV Campground. One last thought, it is a very short drive from the park to Mammoth Cave. There are also some great places to dine near the campground. We highly recommend the Mexican restaurant that is nearby.
Very nice campground. Beautiful landscaping and all sites are gravel pull through. All have firepits and a picnic table. Only about 25 minutes from Mammoth Caves just off of 65. Lots of restaurant choices very close by even some within walking distance. There is a train a few miles away but it really wasn't that loud. Very friendly staff and super clean. We would stay here again for sure!
We stopped on our way down to Florida and again on our way back home. We have a 40 ft Class A and Jeep. Plenty of room for our rig. Great place to stay and it’s right off 65. We will definitely make this one of our stops to Florida in the future. Very friendly and helpful staff.
We have camped here twice. Staff are very kind and professional. Park is clean and well kept. Amenities are nice, clean and available for use. There is plenty of areas to walk dogs as well as a dog park. The sites are well spaced with pic-nic tables and fire pits. There are trains that run near the campground but the sound of them never bothered our stay. There are restaurants within walking distance. And access to the campground is very easy off the highway. Highly recommend this campground.
We stayed at this beautiful campground for only one night returning home from Florida. It is beautifully kept, very clean & the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Restrooms were very clean & attended to. Would definitely highly recommend & would return again.
