Nice place to take a look around, hike, or check out Lake Michigan! Well kept area, very easy “hiking” (if you can call it that), it’s all flat level ground. Covered the entire area in less than 2 hours and saw some really cool scenery.

This state park is such a hidden gem! It has gorgeous views all along the trail and lots of spots to stop and take stunning pictures. I especially love the views of the water from in-between the trees. The whole path has protruding tree roots so the path is not very stroller friendly but it is not a very big trail and is easy enough that we could just carry our little one. Loved it so much , I think we will visit this every time we go to door county.

Cave Point County Park is something out of a dream, where nature's raw power and beauty are on full display. It's one of those places where you feel a bit more alive, a bit more connected to the world. Whether you've got just thirty minutes or the whole day, this park has something to offer. I strongly recommend bringing a swimsuit if you want to feel a real rush-jumping off those rocks into the clear, cool water is an experience you won't forget. And if you're inclined to explore, venture left along the shoreline to discover whimsical stone towers that lend an almost storybook quality to the place. People were there taking family portraits, and I can see why-every angle is picture-perfect. The view of the bay alone is worth the trip over. Cave Point County Park has a bit of magic in it, making it a spot you'll want to revisit time and time again. If you're up for an extraordinary day, this spot won't disappoint.

A fantastic area to visit with gorgeous views. Unlike the adjoining state park, this one is free. There is a hiking trail right next to the shore. The water and cliffs are beautiful. This place is absolutely worth a visit even if the weather is not great (but certainly prettier when it’s sunny out).

Beautiful little area. I believe this park is within/next to Whitefish Dunes State park. Has a 1/2 mile hiking trail that is absolutely gorgeous! Must watch you steps along the cliffside. Some kids jumping off the cliffs into the water, several photo shoots going on, a great place to see.
