Cedar Cove RV Resort

Been here for a couple months so far, an i like it here. Very quiet, peaceful. John an Kathy in the front office are always super nice an helpful. :) would deff recommend coming here.

We stayed at Cedar Cove RV Resort from February 14 to March 3, 2024. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who provided us with detailed information about our site and the resort’s amenities. The park is well-maintained, with concrete campsites and streets, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. We were in site 25, a premium waterfront back-in spot with a concrete pad. The site has full hook-ups, a fire pit ring in the back though we didn’t use it. The site was spacious enough to accommodate our 42' fifth wheel, with our truck and car parked side by side in front of it. The amenities include restrooms, a bathhouse, a laundry room, a picnic area, cooking facilities, and a small convenient store. The park is pet friendly, though there is no designated enclosed area, there is plenty of grassy areas to walk your pets. One thing we really appreciated was the fact that the resort does allow packages that are delivered to their office for pick up. There were some beautiful sunsets that we enjoyed. The resort’s location on Galveston Bay is near several local attractions, such as the San Jacinto Monument, Battleship Texas, Johnson Space Center, Pirates Bay Waterpark, and the Kemah Boardwalk. Additionally, there are opportunities for winery tours at Yepez Winery and playing disc golf nearby. If you are looking to stay in the Baytown area, this is a good location.

Only 45 minutes from the heart of Houston, far away from road or railroad noise, and surrounded by the waters of Cedar Bayou Channel and Ash Lake (in the upper Galveston Bay,) Cedar Cove RV Resort is a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Take advantage of a peaceful retreat for a weekend or a week with family and friends or make it a destination during a job assignment in the Baytown area. Upon arrival, stop in at the upstairs office to receive park information including rules, free wifi name/password, and bathroom/shower/laundry room entry codes. Kathy and John are ready to greet and assist you when you arrive (they are both very personable and wonderful...find out for yourself!) Choose from Bay, Bayview, and Premium back-in and pull-thru sites...all full hookup with concrete pads, 30/50 amp electric, and picnic tables at each site. Primitive camping is also available. Pet are welcome and pet stations can be found around the park for waste bags and disposal containers. The office has a nice store for coffee, necessities, and basic RV supplies. A large screen TV is located below the office in a sheltered area for groups to gather and watch their favorite sports. The laundry room has a change machine and three each clean and efficient washers and dryers. Washers run 26 minutes for $1.75 and dryers run 30 minutes for $1.50. There is a palapa for gatherings and a small playground for the kids. Across the street from the park is a boat launch for guests to use. The owners have more park expansion and exciting additions in the works, too.

Love this resort! We always stop here when we want to go on a little fishing get away! Plus, the bait camp next door is walking distance and perfect for all things fishing wise!

Lucky to find this hidden gem when I was looking to stay 6 months in Baytown. We had previously stayed at an rv park further up the road but that appeared to have gone downhill. Cedar Cove is right on the water, very nice view. Love that all the roads and sites are concrete and a nice size. The laundry room is nice with reasonable prices. Showers and restrooms clean and well kept. It felt like home and I miss it already. Everyone was so nice and my Grandson loved it there as there were other kiddos to play with. Most of all I felt safe. Hope to make it back there some time!
