Just wrapped a short stay at Cedar Creek Campground in Mt. Juliet TN. The grounds are clean and nicely arranged. There are a few sites that back up to the Cumberland River. The grounds ajoin to a public access and recreational area with a playground, volleyball courts, swimming area that has a disabled access ramp, public restrooms. Camp host was friendly and even directed us to enter a gate that better suited our RV and tow vehicle. The sites are long enough in some cases, for larger RVs. Your on a one way in one way out body of land that makes the visit tranquil. We marked this one as a must repeat because of it's proximity to Nashville without being "IN" Nashville.

Nicely laid out campground with lots of water views. Kinda tight to move around with a large 5th wheel but doable. Concrete sites with water and electricity. Nice shower house with lots of hot water.

Beautiful place to hang out...very close to the water so you can walk to it from your campsite. Beware of the sticky leaves coming off the trees...the sap stuck to everything...truck..trailer and came inside on shoes...small price to pay though for a great spot along the water...

First of all it is a nice park, it is tight getting in with a large RV’s you need to use the out gate to squeeze in and unhook you toad before getting here would be suggested. This park is not kept up compared to other COE’s we have stayed in. showers are kept clean but could use a little make over along with the sites most are very narrow so improvements could be made. My major complaint I’d if you have a large unit do not stay in the circle 21-29. It’s a very small circle and may have issues exit and asking some to move vehicle to allow clearance to exit. The host Jay is absolutely worthless for any help you may need, I’d say a lazy guy but in a power trip. Sorry Jay you could have helped out in our issue but refused to call in to the COE help desk as asked, as too busy watching tv.

Cedar Creek Campground is an excellent place to lay low and relax. The sites are well kept overall, and from my multiple stays, I have always had a good experience. It is located on Old Hickory Lake. The lake front sites are hard to get but very nice. Even if you can't get those sites, you are free to access the water and all coastline. The site offer a picnic table, trash bag hanger, fire pit, water hookup and 50 and 30 amp electric hookup. There is a dumping station but not sewers at the sites. Ceder Creek park beside it offers a boat ramp, playground, and beach area, which my kiddos love. There are not many other attractions around there unless you want to venture into Mt. Juliet to go shopping. The price per night is on the lower end too.
