So I'm in Tennessee with a brand new 5th wheel. I had the thought to save a few bucks and called this crap hole after driving past and was told my 16 year old daughter is not allowed to stay there. Wow!
This is a great RV Park!! The ownership and the management staff are the best. They are always friendly and accommodating, and do a great job of monitoring the noise and speed limit within the park. There are well manicured nightly, weekly, and monthly sites available, in either a shady or sunny location. (The scenery on the South side of the park is 'farm-like', and is pure Tennessee rolling foothills.) The pool is a nice amenity, and is always spotlessly clean, with crystal clear water. (I happened to be visiting the pool when the State Health Dept performed a surprise inspection and testing of chemical levels. The inspector shared with us poolside patrons that this particular pool was ALWAYS perfectly within chemical specification, and it is one of the historically CLEANEST that they monitor.) They have a dump station, separate his/her bath house, laundry, and offer propane tank refilling service. A store is adjacent to the office offering basic groceries, ice cream treats, and toiletry items. A truly comfortable place to stay.
They won't open pool on a 90 degree day bc they can't figure out chemicals but yet has been open for 2.5 months either they are lazy or state is failing the chemical tests
Wouldn't let me stay because I converted my van into an RV?!? If it was just a van I was good, it doesn't look at all bad on the outside... I just changed the insides..... I wanted to yell into the phone, "why do you think I'm calling an RV park!?!? I have an RV". I don't think there's a lot of intelligence at play. Turning away RVs at an RV park.... WOW now I've seen it all.
Stayed at shady acres three weeks ago in my RV asked to stay on Saturday night said that our vehicle was too old now for us to be at the park. They have many units there that are well over 10 years old like mine. The condition was worse than what mine is. Mine is in good condition for a 1996.
