Cedar Ridge South Fork River is nestled in a remote, picturesque setting at 2035 Pine Valley Rd, Hardy, AR 72542, USA. Hardy is a charming town in north-central Arkansas, situated in Sharp and Fulton counties, and is renowned for its natural beauty and proximity to the Spring River and the South Fork River. The campground's address places it specifically along the serene South Fork Spring River, a less crowded alternative to the nearby Spring River, ensuring a peaceful experience.
While Cedar Ridge emphasizes an "off-grid" and "remote" feel, it remains accessible for Arkansas residents. Hardy is generally reached via US Highway 62/412, which connects to major routes across the state. Visitors should be aware that once off paved roads, there may be a few miles of gravel or dirt roads leading to the property, enhancing the secluded atmosphere. For those driving cars or smaller vehicles, a shuttle service may be advised due to steep hills, while trucks and SUVs with 4x4 or AWD are generally fine. Despite its remote feel, Cedar Ridge is conveniently located just about 20 minutes from town, providing easy access to supplies, local restaurants, and unique attractions in historic downtown Hardy, Ash Flat, or Cherokee Village. This balance of seclusion and accessibility makes it an excellent choice for a nearby, yet deeply immersive, outdoor getaway.
